Ircon International has bagged an order and received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from N F Railway Construction on 17 July, 2023 to supply integrated tunnel communication systems in Manipur. The contract is valued at Rs 144 crore
The company will supply, install, test and commission integrated tunnel communication systems, optical fibre cable (OFC) based on industrial-grade network systems
The laying of OFC and other cables for the railway network includes tunnels and stations in the Jiribam-Khongsang section of the Jiribam-Imphal new railway line project
The entire work is expected to be completed within 365 days from the date of issuance of the LoA
